Personal data collection ​

Main site - www.wunderupdates.com ​

Our main website does not use cookies or collect any personal data from users. Your IP address and browser user agent strings are stored in our weblogs for security purposes.

Support system - support.wundermatics.com ​

When contacting us for support or other inquiries, we collect your name, email address and any other information you provide at the time of submitting the form. The support system also logs your IP address and browser user agent. When you log in to the support system to view and reply to your tickets, we store a cookie on your computer to keep you logged in.

Sales system - Lemon Squeezy ​

When purchasing a product from us, our 3rd party sales system Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email address, postal address, credit card information and any other information you provide at the time of submitting the form. The sales system also stores your IP and details about your web browser for security purposes and fraud protection.

Logs and analytics ​

All of the above systems make use of web log files. These files merely log visitors to the site – usually a standard procedure for hosting companies and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. This information is used to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement around the site, and gather demographic information. IP addresses and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.

Embedded content from other websites ​

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

How long we retain your data ​

  • Web logs on main site and support system are stored for 180 days.
  • Support system tickets are stored for 3 years, or as long as you have an ongoing subscription + 3 years.
  • Sales system data are stored for as long as you have an ongoing subscription and up to 3 years after.

What rights you have over your data ​

You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you in our sales and support systems. You can request us to remove any personal data we hold about you in our support system by sending an email to us (email address below).

Please note that tax and accounting laws require us to retain basic information about paying customers several years after they stop being customers.

Security of Your Personal Information ​

When we collect and process personal information, and while we retain this information, we will protect it within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification.

Although we will do our best to protect the personal information you provide to us, we advise that no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and no one can guarantee absolute data security.

You are responsible for selecting any password and its overall security strength, ensuring the security of your own information within the bounds of our services. For example, ensuring any passwords associated with accessing your personal information and accounts are secure and confidential.
